Wedding | Gwynivere + Ken

The week leading up to the wedding was a busy one, but not the way you’d think! These two crazy cats celebrated the Stampede in Calgary, where they currently reside, then flew to the groom’s childhood home in Chatham-Kent to be married. I hadn’t had the chance to meet this gorgeous girl and her handsome fellow before I photographed their Chatham wedding, but I knew we were perfect for each other when I arrived on the morning of the wedding and saw that the beautiful bride was wearing a crown of flowers! Flower crowns are the way to this Chatham based photographer’s heart! <3

Gwyn and Ken’s invitations asked guests to break out their “Eatin’ Pants” and “Dancin’ Shoes” for their sweet Chatham-Kent wedding, which promised to be a “Stompin’ Good Time” – and it sure was!
To recap just a few of the amazing highlights of their day:
– Gwyn and Ken’s beautiful dog walked down the aisle
– their guests enjoyed basketball and lawn darts during cocktail hour
– the reception began with some wonderful toasts and a beer pong kissing game which featured shots of fireball in place of beer
– the band totally rocked
– the bride and groom busted their best moves to a choreographed first dance
– their day ended with with a bang, literally! Their friends and family put on a firework show at the end of the night!

Here are a few of my favourites from their sweet country wedding in Chatham, Ontario! Enjoy!

Their matching wedding bands featured mountains and their vows were written on the back of a print by local artist, Lindsey Shields which featured the phrase “Chatham Kent is for Lovers”!
Gwyn and Ken’s day was true to their personalities from start to finish and every detail in between! <3 2016-11-21_0344chatham-wedding-photography-6chatham-wedding-photography-7chatham-wedding-photography-8chatham-wedding-photography-9chatham-wedding-photography-11chatham-wedding-photography-12chatham-wedding-photography-13chatham-wedding-photography-14chatham-wedding-photography-15chatham-wedding-photography-16

Gwyn and Ken picked the perfect recessional song to echo the excitement of the moment!
They danced their way down the aisle to Hall & Oates – You Make My Dreams (Come True) and it was one of my favourite moments of the day! chatham-wedding-photography-17chatham-wedding-photography-18chatham-wedding-photography-19chatham-wedding-photography-20chatham-wedding-photography-21chatham-wedding-photography-22chatham-wedding-photography-23chatham-wedding-photography-24chatham-wedding-photography-25chatham-wedding-photography-26chatham-wedding-photography-27chatham-wedding-photography-28chatham-wedding-photography-29chatham-wedding-photography-31chatham-wedding-photography-32chatham-wedding-photography-33chatham-wedding-photography-34chatham-wedding-photography-35chatham-wedding-photography-36chatham-wedding-photography-37chatham-wedding-photography-38chatham-wedding-photography-39chatham-wedding-photography-40chatham-wedding-photography-41chatham-wedding-photography-43chatham-wedding-photography-44chatham-wedding-photography-45
