Wedding | Lauren + Tyler

This love story begins in the fall of 2007 at the University of Waterloo where two small town girls, our bride Lauren and our groom’s sister, Chantelle became best friends and eventual roommates over their shared love of country music.

Over the years, Chantelle’s brother Tyler would visit his sister and Lauren and Tyler got to know each other. According to my sources, there was a lot of shameless flirting happening between the two throughout the years, but nothing serious ever came of it… until Chantelle decided to take matters into her own hands, of course ;)

Chantelle had always been aware of the spark between her best friend and her brother, so she devised a plan to bring them even closer together. She decided to have Tyler & Lauren walk down the aisle together at her wedding as this would allow for them to spend a little extra time together… and her plan worked! Soon after Chantelle’s wedding, Lauren and Tyler were dating, travelling together and making their long distance love work.

Which brings us to today, their wedding. Although it wasn’t what they’d originally planned, Lauren and Tyler did not let Covid-19 stop them from getting married. They changed their venue, trimmed their guest list, and did what was necessary to safely say I do.
